Public Library board met in the town Hall. The meeting was called to order by the President with the following members present:

EB. Vawter, Grace H. Price, Jacob B. Cunningham, Ethel B. McQueen, W.E. Downs.

Minutes of the last meeting read and approved as read.

Mr. Cunningham reported that he had made a report of the proposed tax levy to the Town Board also to the county auditor.

The President read two letters from the State Library board staff these letters advising that the State board would send someone over to advise with our board regarding the purchase and arranging of Books for the library and other equipment. The President was requested to write for someone to come at the earliest possible date.

Mr. Cunningham reported the following subscriptions having been paid:

Total 147.36

Total Receipts to Aug 1st 1310.33

Total to Date 1457.69

Motion made and carried that report be accepted and spread of record. The following bills were allowed:

E. B. Vawter: 2.36: hauling books and postage

J.B. Cunningham: 2.00: Typewriting
