Public Library – June 3, 1924

The West LaFayette Public Library Board met in regular session with all members present.

The secretary's report was read and approved. The following bills were read and ordered paid:

F. E. Compton & Co. - Encyclopedias	50.00
Howard Creviston – Janitor Service	10.00
Mrs. Eva Dickey – May Salary	75.00
The H. R. Hunting Co. - Books	29.01
Mrs. Hattie [Kenneder] – Christian Sc. Monitor	5.00
Library Bureau – Supplies	5.80

The Librarian, Mrs. Dickey, gave the regular monthly report which was approved and ordered filed. A report of the contingent fund was as follows:

Balance May 6, 1924 – 3.51

Fines collected – 5.58

Expenditures during month – 5.03

Balance June 3, 1924 – 4.06

The Board approved the expenditure of $75.00 for additional books during the month of June.

The question of a vacation for the Librarian was discussed and upon motion duly seconded & passed of four weeks to be taken at her discretion.

There being no further business to transact the Board adjourned.
