The West LaFayette Public Library Board met in regular session with the following members present: J. B. Cunningham, Pres., Mrs. E. O Price, Mrs. Ethel B. McQueen, and F. A. Burtsfield.

The following bills and salaries were allowed and ordered paid:

Total – 293.81

The tax levy for 1924-25 was discussed and finally fixed at 5c per $100.00 of taxable property, and the secretary ordered to certification the same to the city clerk for publication with the levy of the City Council.

Legal advice having been sought it was found that publication with the levy of the city council was sufficient legal advice to tax payers.

The Librarian's report was received and ordered filed.

The report of the Contingent Fund was as follows:

Balance July 1, 1924 – 10.00

Fines during the month – 5.57

Expenditures during the month – 6.84

Balance Aug 1, 1924 – 8.67

There being no further business to transact that Board adjourned.
