|Public Library – June 3, 1925
The Public Library Board met in regular session with the following members present: J. B. Cunningham, Miss Shoemaker, Mrs. McQueen, E. B. Vawter, and F. A. Burtsfield.
The secretary's report was read and approved.
The following bills were allowed and ordered paid:
Total – 1118.93
The Librarian's regular monthly report was received and ordered filed.
The report of the contingent fund was as follows:
Balance May 5, 1925 – 2.53
Fines during month – 7.91
Expenses – 6.60
Balance June 3, 1925 – 3.84
The President, Mr. Cunningham, reported that the deed for the property securely purchased from the Civil City was properly executed and recorded.
All insurance policies issued on the property of the Public Library were given over into the custody of the secretary and were placed in safety-deposit box #11 at the Purdue State Bank.
After considering the various kind of typewriters submitted by various agents, the Library Board ordered the purchase of an L. C. Smith in 90 days time.
There being no further business to transact the Board adjourned.
