The West LaFayette Public Library Board met in regular session with the following members present: Mr. Cunningham, Miss Shoemaker, Mrs. McQueen, Mrs. Price, Mr. Smith, and Mr. Burtsfield.

The secretary's report was read and approved.

The following bills were allowed and ordered paid:

The Finance Committee reported on the budget for the coming year. The report was as follows:

Salary of Librarian and Assistant – 1100.00

Janitor & Sanitary supplies – 200.00

Fuel – 150.00

New Furniture – 100.00

Repair and Upkeep – 200.00

Postage, Freight & Express – 100.00

Incidentals – 75.00

Total – 2825.00

Amount received from June, 1925 – Distribution – 1444.23

Assessed Valuation of Taxables – 5,773,575.00

The report was accepted and ordered written into the minutes.

The President reported that the [?] for the Library Property had been paid as per agreement reported at a former meeting. The President reported, also, that a $1200 insurance policy had been received.

The Librarian's regular monthly report was received and ordered filed.

The report of the contingent fund was as follows:

Balance June 3, 1925 – 3.84

Fines during month – 7.85

Expenses – 6.83

Balance July 7, 1925 – 4.86

The Board voted to give Mrs. Dickey, the librarian, one month's vacation on full pay.
