|Public Library – Dec. 1, 1925
The Public Library Board met in regular session with the following members present: J. B. Cunningham, Miss Caroline Shoemaker, W. R. Smith, E. B. Vawter, and F. A. Burtsfield.
The secretary's report was read and approved.
The following bills were allowed and ordered paid:
Total – 182.39
The Librarian's monthly report was received & ordered filed.
The report of the contingent fund was as follows:
Balance Nov. 3, 1925 0 3.14
Fines during month – 6.70
Expenditures during month – 6.61
Balance Dec. 1, 1925 – 3.23
Upon motion the Librarian was allowed to employ an assistant in order to facilitate the cataloging of the books.
The Board granted as um not to exceed ten dollars to be used in decorating the library in an appropriate manner for the Christmas season.
In order that the Librarian might attend the Library Board meetings without interruption she was ordered ti employ an assistant on the evening of the meetings.
The Board adjourned.
