The West Lafayette Library Board met in regular session with the following member present – Mr. Vawter, Mr. Burtsfield, Mr. Cunningham & Mrs. McQueen.

The following bills were allowed and ordered paid:

Total – 186.46

The contingent fund showed a balance of 415.25, fines collected $11.34, expenses $6.08, leaving a balance of $20.57.

A communication was read in regard to the District Library Meeting at Frankfurt May 14th. The Librarian was authorized to attend this meeting, also any Trustees who might be able to do so.

Mr. Cunningham reported the insurance now in force on the Library Building $1200.00 which expires July 11, 1928. American Eagle Policy #2291. Insurance on furniture & books $2000.00 which expires April 16, 1929 in the automobile In. co. of Hartland Conn. Policy #1140. These policies are to be kept at the Library.

The Librarian was authorized to present a recommendation at the next meeting for a new filing cabinet.
