The regular meeting of the W. Lafayette Library Board was held with the following members present – Mr. Burtsfield, Mr. Vawter, Mr. Smith, Miss Shoemaker, Mrs. McQueen.

Minutes of the regular July meeting and the special meeting of July 28th were read and approved.

The following bills were read & ordered paid:

Total – 205.38

The Librarian's report showed fines collected $9.67. Balance on hand $8.82, totaling $19.49. The expenditures amounted to $6.56 and $4.59 was deposited with city clerk – leaving a balance of $8.34 on hands.

The house committee reported the sale of old pipes, boxes, etc. for $6.00 after which the meeting adjourned.
