The following members were present at Sept. board meeting: L.J. Pierce, Mrs. McQueen, Dean Shoemaker, Mr. Burtsfield, Mrs. Price.

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.

Librarian's report showed 6413 books on shelves and the average circulation 108 daily.

Librarian reported gift of five dollars from members [Mother's ??? club] and Sect'y was ordered to {???] ledger same.

Mrs. McQueen was asked to get a new checkbook.

It was suggested that when the children's room is finished, the [?] be visited to the opening.
