Librarian’s report indicated a continued growth – there having registered 46 new borrowers during the month and an average circulation of 188 books per day.
At the rate we are now going it looks that within two years we may find ourselves in as crowded a condition as at the time of the last remodeling – with no further room to expand.
The Librarian also reported the gift of ten new volumes from the International Mind Alcove making a total of 186 volumes from this source. This is an organization to encourage a wider knowledge of the peoples of the world and to stimulate the international mind – financed by the Carnegies Endowment of International peace.
The group meeting to be held in Frankfort on May 26 was announced and trustees urged to attend.
After an interesting and profitable discussion of library matters in general with a mind for our future needs the meeting adjourned.
