June 2 – 1931
The Board met in the Children’s room. Mrs. McQueen, Mrs. Price, Misters Vawter, Pierce, and Smith present.

Minutes were approved as read. Bills amounting to $275.36 were allowed.

Mr. Vawter reported securing advice of a lawyer in regard to our authority to create a sinking fund for building purposes.
Because of some question regarding the wording of recent laws in this matter we were advised to interview the State Board of Accounts before acting.
A motion carried delegating Mr. Pierce to represent us at the National meeting in New [?] in June with expenses paid.

The Librarian was authorized to purchase Britannica.

After considering the Librarian’s monthly report the Board adjourned.
