The Library Board assembled with every member present.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Bills were allowed amounting to $265.47.

The Librarian’s report indicated a continued gradual growth – with an increased in number of volumes and in new subscribers.
Heat and vacations serve to have reduced the circulation of children’s books.

The financial report showed a balance of $669.79 at the end of the six months period.

The history of the Library as proposed by the Librarian Mrs. Dickey and her assistant was read and listened to with interest and highly commended.
The president called upon Mr. L. J. Pierce, our representative of the American Library Association meeting in New Haven – to give us his report of that meeting.
This Mr. Pierce did in a most interesting way.
His bill for expenses amounting to $23.45 was allowed.
