The West Lafayette Library board met in brief session with the following members present: Mr. Vawter, Mr. Burtsfield, Mr. Pierce, and Mrs. McQueen – who was appointed Sec. Pro Tem.

Bills to the amount of $948.52 were presented and ordered paid.
The Librarian’s report was most gratifying a total of 114 new books being added – 79 in juvenile in addition to a much needed set of Encyclopedia Britanica.
A total of 156 new borrowers were registered.
The need of a new dictionary stand was expressed and the librarian was authorized to purchase same.
