October 4, 1932

On account of a later meeting in the city, The Board convened at 6 o’clock with six members present.

Minutes of Sept. meeting were read and approved. The Board approved the action of the house committee in having our children’s room papered.

Bills amounting to $352.92 were alloed.

The matter of representation at Library Convention in Evansville Oct.          was left for Librarian to decide.

Mr. Pierce reported on lighting for new shelving. After necessary experimenting to determine best method of lighting – the committee is instructed to act.

Matter of Asst. Librarian to take the place of Pauline Smith when she leaves, was discussed.

Mr. Burtsfield and Mrs. McQueen were appointed as a committee to serve with Mrs. Dickey ins utdying the situation carefully and make a recommendation to the Board at its next meeting.
