All members were present at the regular Aug. meeting of the W. L. Library Board.
Bills totaling $286.87 were allowed and ordered paid.
Present Insurance of $2700 on building and $7200 on fixture and books was discussed and a suggestion made that the State Library Board might give us information on the valuation of books, which they suggest be insured as a separate item.
It was moved and carried to ask the Finance Com., with Mrs. Burtsfield chairman, to prepare a report for adequate tax levy working towards a $1.50 limit to be read at a called meeting the last of Aug.
Mr. Graves reported that the building and grounds com. were well pleased with the job of weather-stripping and that the roof needed several patches which would be given immediate attention.
Mrs. Dickey reported a visit to the Cleveland Library as a part of a pleasant vacation.
Six Carneige Endowment Alcove Books were received acknowledge by our Librarian.

110 card were withdrawn from the files
30 new registration cards were filled out
Bank Bal. of $2569.60.
The President’s Reemployment agreement was read after which the meeting adjourned.
