The Library Board met a seven o’clock March 2nd 1927 with Mr. Creek presiding in the temporary absences of Mrs. McQueen. All members except Miss Cunningham were present.
The secretary read her report and it was accepted.
Bills in the amount of $306.21 were approved and allowed.
Mr. Mason, chairman of the building and grounds committee, gave a report of the estimates received for new shelving. The chairman was instructed to secure the lowest bidder for the work.
Mrs. Dickey’s report was read. The daily circulation for February was about 140 books.
The City Treasurer’s report showed a balance of $1936.38.
Mr. Creek read the list of periodicals for renewal and moved that it be accepted with the addition of Current History. The motion was carried.
All business being completed the meeting adjourned.
