Tuesday evening August the third, those members of the library board not away on vacation met to approve bills and the budget for the calendar year ending December 31, 1938.
Bills to the amount of $252.36 were allowed after being checked.
A copy of the recommended budget was read and approved by those present and was later signed by the president and secretary of the board.
The librarian’s report showed a total of 2526 books withdrawn the daily circulation being 97. The library was open twenty-six days.
