April 5, 1938
On April the fifth, at the West Lafayette Library, the Library Board met at seven o’clock. Mr. Creek, Mr. Vawter, and Mr. Mason were present and had transacted the routines business when the secretary arrived. They had checked and allowed bills in the amount of $345.18.
The Librarian’s report showed 3716 volumes withdrawn during the twenty-four days that the library was open.
Bids for cleaning and painting the library were read and discussed. It was decided to wait until other bids could be secured.
The meeting adjourned.
