The Library Board met the evening of January the third with two members absent.
The librarian’s report was read. The total circulation for January was 3459, the dailt circulation being 133 for the twenty six days during January that the library was open. 1231 adult fiction, 1065 juvenile fiction, total 2296 fiction withdrawn. 895 non-fiction adult, 278 juvenile non-fiction, total 1173. There are 11284 books on the shelves.
Mr. Mason read the report of the nominating committee.
For chairman: Professor H. L. Creek
For vice-chairman: Miss Emma Cunningham
For secretary: Mrs. McKee.
Mr. Creek accepted the report and in turn appointed the same committees as several last year:
Mrs. Dickey suggested a new shelf on which new novels could be added. Discussion followed and it was decided not to act on the suggestion.
