Friends of the Library

About the Friends | Book Fair | Friends' Shop | Friends' Amazon Shop

The Friends of the West Lafayette Public Library is a volunteer organization which supports the library in day-to-day operations and fund raising.

The Friends sponsor a semi-annual used book sale. The next sale is the Fall Book Fair  which is scheduled for October 19 through 22, 2012.

Donations of used books are accepted at the library during regular hours all through the year. Please place donations under the "Book Fair Donation" sign, which is located in the library's lobby between the south and east entrance doors. Many donated materials are added directly to the library collection. Others are used in the Friends' book sale and proceeds are used to support the library. Don't forget that you will receive a tax receipt when donating!

Check out the Friends of the Library BOOK SHOP in the Library! The Friends' BOOK SHOP offers over 2,000 gently used books all year.

Join the Friends of the Library! Use the online form to the right, sign up at a book fair or come into the library and fill out an application form. $15 a year for individuals or families, $5 a year for students.  Please call the library 743-2261 or stop by to learn more.
