Public Computer Use

The West Lafayette Public Library offers wireless internet service throughout its two story building.  Access to the internet is also available in the library through direct cable connections.  Please ask library reference staff if you need assistance with either of these free services.

In addition there are 13 public computers for adult use, 4 computers for young adults ages 12-17, and 9 computers in the children's area designated for children and their caregivers. 

The Library now offers the Dig•Me Media Center with 2 computers equiped with the Adobe Creative Suite 6, MS OFfice 2010 and a subscription to over 1600 online software tutorials at lynda.com. The room is available for individuals and groups to work on projects, training and video conferencing.  Online Dig•Me Media Center Use Request Form You may also call the library at 765-743-2261 to request use of the Dig•Me Media Center. Computer use on the public computers is limited to no more than 2.5 hours per day. A user's account must be in good standing in order to be eligible for computer use privileges.  Guest passes are available for visitors to our area.

Use of the Library's public wireless service is not restricted by time of use.
