Friends Fall Book Fair begins October 31, 2014
The Friends of the Library Fall Book Fair for 2014
begins on Halloween Friday, October 31 with a Friends of the Library Member preview from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. This special preview is open to Friends Members only - but you can join the Friends of the Library at the door!*
Saturday November 1 the Book Sale opens to the public with thousands of books starting at only 50 cents and ranging up to $2.00 for hardcover titles and a bit more for "giftable" better books.
Sunday ALL books are half price! And Monday brings the Fall Book Fair Bag Sales: all the books you can pack in a grocery bag for $3 on Monday and Tuesday - only $1 per bag on Wednesday through Friday.
We hope you'll join us for a great selection of books and friendly folks who join in shoping and browsing.
*A one year membership - entry to two Friends Preview nights at the Book Fair - is $15.00 for individuals or families; $5.00 for students.

INSPIRE, magazine indexes, encyclopedias, and other databases, including the new the Testing & Education Reference Center (TERC) designed to help students — from high school to graduate school to specialty school and beyond and the Small Business Resource Center for how-to information on small business planning, bookkeeping, financing, human resource management, marketing, regional tax laws or starting a home-based business.
CONSUMER REPORTS magazine online is available for you use while you are in the Library. Please ask for help using this online service at the Reference Desk on the second floor.
Access to the Grant Select database is now available through all patron computers and wi-fi connections in the West Lafayette & Tippecanoe County Public Libraries. COMING SOON - patrons will be able to log in OUTSIDE the Libraries with their barcode number and password. We will make an announcement as soon as this is available.
The West Lafayette Public Library is now subscribing to ProQuest for access to articles in the past issues of the Journal and Courier and other newspapers. http://search.proquest.com If you are outside the library you will need your library card for access.
