Adult/Teen Craft: Crochet Level One Beginning Basics

Level One: This class teaches foundational crochet techniques to those who have either never tried or need a refresher. We will cover the slip knot, chain, and single crochet stitch. There are no prerequisites so come and give crochet a try!
Level Two: This class will cover the single crochet for those who need a little more assistance or the double crochet for those ready to try something new. To take this class, please have either taken Level One or know how to make a slip knot and chain.
Level Three: Not only does this class rehash the double crochet for those who need it, but we will cover the basics of reading crochet patterns. To practice our new skills, we will start our first project–a crochet headband! For this class, please have taken Level Two or know the fundamentals of crochet (such as slip knot, chain, and double crochet.)
This program is for Teens and Adults 13+
Space is limited, registration is required.
Elizabeth is a passionate fiber artist with nearly 20 years of experience in knitting and crochet. Over the years she has had the pleasure of teaching a wide range of students and believes it is important to pass along these skills while continuing to learn as much as she can.
This is a free program offered by the West Lafayette Public Library. Free parking available in our garage. WLPL library cards are free for all residents of Tippecanoe County.
