Mend it: Denim

Learn mending and alteration skills using colorful patchwork and stitching! You can bring your own jeans to work on. All supplies and extra denim material will be provided. This session will be led by instructor Ashley Bellet, Assistant Professor of Costume Design at Purdue.

Ashley Bellet teaches Costume Design at Purdue University, and is excited to share her love of craft with you! When she’s not teaching rendering, fashion history, costume crafts, or design, she’s probably quilting, painting, embroidering, or layering some combination of those in her textile art. She’s looking forward to meeting you!
