Purdue Assistant Professor, Ashley Bellet, will help you get familiar with setting up, troubleshooting, and caring for a sewing machine.
Participants are invited to bring their own machine if it is portable.
We’ll provide scrap fabric and thread.
There will be three program times offered to accommodate different ages:
- Saturday, February 21st, 2026 at 1:00 PM (Reserved for Children aged 7+ and accompanying adults)
- Thursday, February 26th, 2026 at 5:30 PM (Reserved for Teens and Adults aged 13+)
- Tuesday, March 31st, 2026 at 5:30 PM (Reserved for Teens and Adults aged 13+)
Space is limited to 12 and registration is required. Register here. A confirmation email will be sent prior to the class to confirm attendance. Unconfirmed spots will be offered to the next registered participant.
