Spooks & Slices: “Friday the 13th” (1980)

A group of camp counselors trying to reopen a summer camp called Crystal Lake, which has a grim past, are stalked by a mysterious killer (from IMDB.com).  Released in 1980, this film needs no introduction.  One of the most famous slasher films of all time, “Friday the 13th” is a cinematic masterclass.  Having inspired dozens of similarly-plotted films, this horror classic continues to frighten us to this day.

Doors will open at 3:00 PM for patrons to grab some pizza and a good seat.  This program is for adult patrons, and requires no registration.  The film is rated “R”, so viewer discretion is advised before attending.
