Spooks & Slices: “Ju-On: The Grudge” (2002)

BYOC — Bring Your Own Candy!  Join us at the Library on Sunday, Oct. 16th, for a screening of “Ju-On: The Grudge”, a Japanese-language film from the original “Grudge” film series.  These events are sponsored by Arni’s Restaurant.  Patrons can look forward to free Arni’s pizza, giveaway prizes, and plenty of scares!

A mysterious and vengeful spirit marks and pursues anybody who dares enter the house in which it resides (from IMDB.com).  Released in 2002, this film cements Japanese horror cinema’s reputation as top-tier.  Thoroughly scarier than their American-produced counterparts, “Ju-On” will shake you.

Doors will open at 3:00 PM for patrons to grab some pizza and a good seat.  This program is for adult patrons, and requires no registration.  The film is rated “R”, so viewer discretion is advised before attending.
