Teen/Adult Program: Behind the Music with Lafayette Symphony Orchestra PERCUSSION

We wrap up the series with the dynamic world of percussion, where rhythm, timing, and unexpected sounds come together.
From timpani and snare drum to mallet instruments and special effects, percussionists do far more than “keep the beat.”
Watch and listen as an LSO musician, Drew Cox, demonstrates the wide variety of instruments and techniques that add excitement, tension, and sparkle to orchestral music.
