Teen Craft Take and Make: Design a Bookend

Help us decorate our library!  Design a bookend that will live in our Teen Room, among the Young Adult collection!

How to Participate in the Design a Bookend Art Project:

1. Sign Up: This project is for students entering 7th-12th grades.  Use this form to sign up and adopt a bookend from the Library.  This form will close on July 7th.
2. Pick Up Your Bookend: Once you’ve signed up, stop by the Library anytime starting Tuesday, July 1st to pick up your blank bookend and supplies.  You are also welcome to use any art supplies you have at home.
3. Get Creative: Decorate your bookend however you’d like—paint, collage, gems—anything that reflects your style!
4. Keep It Library-Friendly: Please avoid any decorations that include profanity, hate symbols, or imagery that would be inappropriate for a public space serving all ages. The Library reserves the right to withhold bookends that do not meet our community standards.
5. Return Your Masterpiece: Bring your decorated bookend back to the Library by July 14th.
6. See It on Display: Your finished bookend will proudly live among our Young Adult collection—thank you for adding your creativity to our space!
