2019 Summer Reading Program: “A Universe of Stories”

Our summer reading program is for children who are ages 1 through 12. (Children who will be entering 7th grade in the fall may participate in the children’s department program or the teen program.)
The program is for listeners as well as readers.
Children are not required to have a library card.

Children may collect the 1st level prizes after reading 12 books (or 6 hours) and the 2nd level prizes after reading 24 books (or a total of 12 hours). For the best selection of prizes, children should collect them as soon as they reach their goals.

Children may participate in the reading club only one time per summer.

Special programs will be offered on most Wednesdays and Saturdays in June and July. Please check the children’s section of the library’s website and posters in the children’s department for information about the programs. All programs are free. Some events may require registration.

Register: May 20th – July 14th; Read: May 20th – July 31st
