Contactless Pickup is beginning at West Lafayette Public Library!
Starting May 18th patrons may place holds on up to five items via the Evergreen Catalog, or over the phone (765-743-2261).
Holds placed by noon the day before will be ready for pick up on Wednesdays from 3 – 6 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm. Patrons may place holds on up to 5 items per library card.
Staff will do their best to pull all the items a patron has requested, but patrons are not guaranteed these items.
How does it work?
Step one: Place up to 5 items on hold via phone (765-743-2261) or online hold by noon the day before pick up times are available. Patrons may only pick up items we have on our shelves at the library. There is no Interlibrary Loan at this time.
Step two: You will receive a confirmation email or a phone call from the library when your books have been pulled and are ready for pick up.
Step three: To pick up your items, please come to the library on Wednesdays from 3 – 6 pm or Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm. Upon arrival, please CALL the library at 765-743-2261, and a staff member will place your items in the Columbia St. vestibule.
Step four: Wait for the staff member to place your items on a table in the Columbia St. vestibule. Once the staff member is safely back in the library you may retrieve your items.
