O’Brien Lecture Series – A Tale of Two Studios: Preserving Frank Lloyd Wright in Different Climates

The Library will host Frederick Prozzillo Jr., the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundations Nord McClintock Family V.P. of Preservation and Collections, in the Elm Room on May 12th to discuss the differences associated with preservation work in different climates.

Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home and desert laboratory was established in 1938 and handcrafted over many years. It was built and maintained by Wright and his apprentices, making it one of his most personal creations. Here Wright spent his winters designing many of America’s most iconic buildings.

This lecture is free, and open to the public. Doors will open at 5:45 PM, with a Q&A to follow.
