What is the Library of Things?
The Library of Things collection allows you to explore, experiment and accomplish! Try something out before you buy it. Support learning and experimentation in your family. Get creative with friends. Add extra pizazz to a project. Or borrow that tool you’ll only need once.
Browse this collection in our Lounge area – when you’re ready to check out take the tag to our desk staff to receive the item. Each item is clearly labeled with the included components and packaged for easy return.

FAQ
Most items loan for one week and will renew once.
You can place holds on Library of Things items! Find the item in our catalog and place the hold through your account, or ask staff for assistance.
The items are simply the product just as you would find it from the store with some changes made for packaging or reusability. Consumable materials like fabric or solder are not supplied.
Fines will be assessed for items returned with damage or missing parts. If an item is not as expected, please contact the library as soon as possible to report the issue.
