Teen Volunteer Opportunities

Earn service hours, gain work experience, and have fun volunteering at West Lafayette Public Library in the Teen department! As a volunteer you might keep our Teen area sparkling and organized, help recommend books to other readers, assist with programs, or be artistic. The time commitment can be as little as 2 hours each month up to 2 hours per week, depending on library needs and your schedule. Volunteers must be currently enrolled in 7th – 12th grade (or homeschool equivalent)

Volunteer expectations:

  • Be on time for your scheduled volunteer shifts
  • Communicate about any absences
  • Be willing to work together with other volunteers
  • Feel excited to learn and try new things
  • Be committed to improving the library

Current volunteer opportunities:

We do not currently have vacancies in our teen volunteer program. Check again in the future for updates. One of the best ways to stay aware of new volunteer openings is to visit the library to get books, hang out, and attend events.
