Children’s Day

In Turkey April 23 is celebrated as National Sovereignty and Children’s Day and it is a national holiday. This is an opportunity to participate in a celebration of children. We will see performances of Turkish dances and children are invited to share a dance from their own culture too. If you would like to perform, you can contact the Children’s Department in person or call 765 643 2261 so that we know who to expect. All are welcome whether you wish to dance for everyone or watch other dancers, either way we will celebrate our diverse backgrounds and the joys of childhood!
